Leonard is an attorney at law practicing in the United States with a deep experience in business development, project evaluation, market study, M & A due diligence, and risk assessment. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages in 1984. He went on to earn a Master of Law in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations in Beijing. From 1987 to 1989, Leonard worked as an Assistant Corporate Counsel for Guangdong International Investment and Trust Corporation in Guangzhou with a heavy involvement in project finance.

From 2006 into present day, Leonard works as the in-house counsel at Giorgio Foods, Inc., and is Of Counsel Attorney at B. Paul Husband, P.C. in Los Angeles, specialising in international, US securities, and investment laws.
